Strategically located in Tarnos, southwest France, very close to the Spanish border, we have a capacity of 500,000 tonnes, successfully serving the demanding international market.

Production
80 tonnes/hour
We have an estimated manufacturing capacity of 500,000 tonnes per year, which enables LDL to successfully meet the demands of the market.
We have a state-of-the-art rolling line for the rolling of thick steel plates. At the beginning of the line there is a slab heating furnace with a capacity of 80 tonnes/hour. This is followed by a 4,000 tonne Quarto-type rolling mill. At the end of the line, we have a roller leveller and an automatic shear for longitudinal cutting of rolled sheets.
Efficient logistics solutions by sea, rail and road
Strategically located in the port of Bayonne, in the southwest of France, we are connected to the main European high-capacity land transport networks, both road and rail. Our location in the port allows us to receive the slabs we use as raw material and load the heavy plates for our customers anywhere in the world, efficiently and competitively.
Maritime
The privileged location in the port of Bayonne translates into efficient shipping solutions and competitive freight rates to all European ports, especially Germany, Benelux, UK and Scandinavia.
Road
We can also offer truck transport to all European destinations, especially for our customers in France, Portugal and Spain.
Railway
By rail, we can transport anything from small batches of 50 tonnes to complete trains for a single customer. Bayonne's position in the European rail network makes it a strategic hub with daily departures to the main European destinations.
