The term “hot-rolled slabs” refers to semi-finished products with higher thicknesses than those of heavy plates. The required dimensions are obtained by rolling on a four-high reversing mill. Mechanical characteristics cannot fully be guaranteed on this product, but the chemical analysis (in compliance with the customer’s reference standards).
